Winter Kisses- Pauline Evans
Winter kisses examines in a very real and emotional way what can happen when a couple grows apart. Although classified as a contemporary Christian fiction novel, Pauline manages to tell a very relatable story without preaching, or clubbing you over the head with her faith. You felt honest emotion from the characters and wanted to know what was going to happen next. I would recommend this read.

Captivating Love Story, April 30, 2010
This review is from: Winter's Kisses (Middle English Edition) (Paperback)
Winter's Kisses draws on our inner most desires to want the kind of love that many of us never experience. Its almost like a fantasy, but the tragic events and reality of living through a marriage so unpredictable makes u feel the intensity of the story.
Pauline did an awesome job luring us through her first Novel, with tact and over-confidence. If u haven't already done so, you should get a copy before the second Novel hit stores. Nice Job..., a healthy read.

As I read this story of a couple who have been together since high school, I was reminded of when young, we would take a clover and do the "he loves me..he loves me not.." thing, worried about the outcome. Pauline Evans takes a theme we've seen before and makes it her own using a Christian base and took me back to my school days of dating. Fans of Christian fiction will enjoy this take on marriage, the pitfalls that may arise in the relationship and how to deal with them. I look forward to reading other works by this author.

WHAT AN "ON TIME" WORD FOR THIS GENERATION!!, April 27, 2010
Pauline Evans, a new and upcoming author, did a wonderful job of showing how relationships are always re-forming, changing, redefining themselves. In the end, this dramatic tale slowly reveal that YES, relationships can even survive the unthinkable...infidelity...when you pray and put God first!! Winter's Kisses was more than just a good story, it was also healing as each page was turned. I recommend this book to anyone especially to those who desire a second chance at love.

Simply Tiffani said... Pauline R. Evans is a rare gem. She was able to get her points across without using vulgar language and while her book deals with infidelity, 100% of the book was tastefully written. I instantly fell in love with the courtship of Aaron and Winter. Reading this book is a must, especially for Christians. Everyone sins but when you put your heart and faith into the Lord anything and I mean anything is possible. I can't wait to read more of Pauline's work and I feel truly blessed and honored to have read something so real and spiritually fulfilling!
Pauline Evans’, Winter’s Kisses, is a breath-taking story about life and love. Pauline’s writing is refreshing and descriptive giving the reader a first-hand glimpse at matters of the heart. It is a recommended read for anyone who believes in destiny.

I enjoyed the novel. I have not read any fiction in years and I am very busy but I started reading "Winter's Kisses" on a weekday after work and it only took me 2 to 3 days to finish. It was a good storyline and a commendable effort from Ms Evans being her first novel. As a writer myself, I know how hard it is to write fiction. She is an author to watch out for!

Winter's Kisses the first novel written by Pauline Rose Evans is about high school sweethearts who marry and what happens to their lives over the years. It's also a stirring piece of literature which focuses on a serious issue that is running rampant, and how a family overcomes and survives the dark cloud that hovers over their lives. Mrs. Evans brings you into each character so you can feel their anguish.
I liked that the book gives a first-person, firsthand account of the characters experiences, thoughts and feelings. The other characters ties in perfectly as the story unfolds. The book teaches you that if you have Faith anything is possible. Winter's Kisses is a book that I will gladly recommend.

The excitement and trill that you do get from this book is beyond intense. Its beyond captivating. It is just AMAZING!! As Ava said, the characters went from going through their trials and situations and it only became apparent that they found themselves. This book was certainly not your everyday average book. This book is really, as you really feel so much a part of the story... yes, just as how you are right there with them. You laugh, you cry, your down, and your up. This is definitely one book that comes in contact with your emotions, and it’s good for the whole family to read and enjoy. To the author, I salute you for a mighty good job that you have done. The hard work, the scares, the plays, the tears, and the joys that went through this book have really taken you so far. This book is definitely purpose by design. To di worl' http://www.powells.com/
